Estonia, with a northern climate characterised by cold winters, mild summers, and extensive forest and wetland areas, is strengthening climate resilience through active engagement in the Mission. A total of 7 local and regional authorities are participating in Mission Projects, supported by 5 Charter Signatories (regions/local authorities that have signed the Mission Charter and committed to striving toward climate resilience by 2030), and €7.29 million in EU funding has been allocated.

AdaptationHubs boosts coordination on climate adaptation, while helping national and local governments to share solutions and strengthen their approaches to managing climate risks.
Estonian Fund for Nature (ELF) convenes a climate change adaptation cooperation network, ie NAH, in Estonia. For this end, ELF will involve national, regional and local stakeholders with their relevant knowledge and skills to support and speed up the adaptation activities.
