The EU Mission Adaptation Community of Practice is a dynamic engagement platform that brings together Europe’s key actors working on climate change adaptation. It is a shared space for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, designed to strengthen the links between research, policy, and practice and to empower European regions and communities in building resilience to climate change by 2030.
Members
The EU Mission Adaptation Community connects a diverse and growing network of members, including regional and local authorities that are Charter Signatories, Mission Projects and regions and local authorities participating in their implementation, the European Commission and other relevant European institutions, national authorities, and Friends of the Mission. By bringing these groups together in one place, the EU Mission Adaptation Community enables meaningful collaboration across governance levels and sectors.

The online EU Mission Adaptation Community site, available in all EU languages, is open to any organisation committed to developing climate resilience. It offers a space to learn, connect, and take action. Members can stay informed about events and resources, share their experiences of climate adaptation, join discussions, and explore the Mission Projects space and database.

Events
The EU Mission Adaptation Community offers a wealth of resources, capacity-building events, matchmaking opportunities, and spaces of collaboration, to promote mutual learning with peers across Europe. Through monthly thematic topics, the EU Mission Adaptation Community organises dedicated events and workshops that tackle Europe’s most pressing climate adaptation challenges, encouraging practical exchanges on real-world solutions, tools, and strategies from regions and local authorities, Mission Projects, and leading experts.
