The Climate Conference will bring together key stakeholders from the Podravje region and beyond to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore concrete pathways for advancing climate change adaptation.
The conference will create a space for exchange between several European projects working on climate adaptation, regional development, and sustainability, including Mission-funded TiCCA4DANU, and others.
A key focus of the conference will be on how to prepare the Podravje region to become more resilient in the face of climate-related challenges. Discussions will address practical approaches to climate change adaptation, examples of successful measures from other regions, and opportunities to identify optimal financing models for the implementation of adaptation actions.
A special emphasis will be placed on the TiCCA4DANU Open Discovery Process workshops, which will provide an interactive setting for stakeholders to jointly explore regional climate adaptation needs, challenges, and opportunities. These workshops are designed to support co-creation, strengthen dialogue, and contribute to the development of transformative adaptation pathways in the Danube Region.
Through knowledge exchange, practical discussions, and cross-project collaboration, the Climate Conference in Maribor will contribute to building a more resilient Podravje region and support broader efforts toward climate adaptation across the Danube Region.
