This year’s Green Week will put the spotlight on the business case for nature, demonstrating that a nature-positive economy is essential for Europe’s prosperity, resilience, and competitiveness.
Organised by DG Environment, the conference will explore how nature can be a driver for EU citizens’ prosperity and quality of life, provide inspiration and put nature in its due place on the political agenda.
Together with policymakers, investors, urban planners, businesses, naturalists, farmers and civil society, we will explore how nature-positive models work in practice, focusing on profitable sustainable farming, soil-health innovations, greening cities, and exciting new opportunities to reverse rural flight.
This year’s event will offer a dynamic programme combining panel discussions, inspiration, movie night, and a dedicated startup-investor matchmaking event.
Participant registration will open in April 2026.
Green Week partner events
Taking the conversation on a nature-positive economy outside Brussels, Green Week partner events will engage businesses, individuals, and communities across Europe and beyond.
Application for partner events will be open from 2-20 March. The guidelines for engaging citizens through debates, workshops, seminars, and project visits will be available on the Green Week website in early February.
