In the past three years, the ASPECT project has been developing innovative approaches to bridge climate predictions across seasonal to multi-decadal timescales and applying these to real-world case studies, promoting sustained dialogue between scientists and users. By placing users at the centre of the process, ASPECT seeks to ensure that advanced climate predictions translate into practical, usable climate services.

This year, ASPECT is hosting the fourth and final edition of the ASPECT User Forum – Advancing climate adaptation with seamless and tailored climate predictions. As the project wraps up later this year, this two-day virtual event will highlight its latest scientific advances in seamless climate prediction, explore the benefits for real-world users, and discuss opportunities towards a more resilient future.
This event is open to everyone interested in understanding climate predictions and how they can be used to improve decision-making, with no specialised knowledge required to participate: current or potential users of climate information, representatives from public agencies, business owners, or members of a non-governmental organisation.
