Baltic Regional Forum Brings Together Leaders to Drive Climate Resilience Across the Region

Focused on the climate challenges facing the wider Baltic Sea Region, the event highlighted both the urgency of adaptation and the strength of regional cooperation. The forum opened with reflections from local and European leaders on the need for climate action at every level, setting the scene for a full day of discussions, panels and thematic workshops. Participants explored practical solutions across key themes, including coastal resilience and sea-level rise, heat management, water security and drought, as well as urban greening and renaturing. 

Engagement across the event was strong, with 65 attendees at the networking reception, 91 in-person participants joining the thematic workshops, and 125 livestream views on YouTube. The interactive workshops enabled participants to co-create approaches tailored to shared regional challenges, reinforcing the value of working together across sectors and borders. 

A public livestream ensured that insights reached beyond the room, supporting climate resilience efforts across the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.
