The Mission Projects Catalogue 2026 is now live and has been updated to reflect the growing portfolio of Horizon Europe projects contributing to the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
The catalogue brings together projects that help regions, cities, and communities better understand climate risks, develop innovative adaptation solutions, share knowledge and strengthen resilience to the impacts of climate change.
Together, the projects address a broad range of climate risks, from flooding, drought, and extreme heat to coastal erosion, sea level rise, and wildfires. They support action across key adaptation themes, including governance, adaptation finance, Nature-based Solutions, water management, infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, and transformative change.
The updated catalogue includes both established and newly launched projects, providing a comprehensive overview of the Mission’s research and innovation landscape. Each project profile highlights key objectives, achievements, climate risks addressed, and thematic areas of work, making it easier for policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders to explore project activities and identify opportunities for collaboration, learning, and replication.
By connecting knowledge, innovation, and implementation, these projects are helping to strengthen adaptation capacity across Europe and support the Mission’s objective of accelerating transformative climate resilience.
