The Directorate-General for Climate Action has launched the #ClimateFactsMatter campaign, a new initiative designed to counter climate disinformation and strengthen public understanding of climate science and EU climate action.

The campaign provides a practical toolkit featuring shareable infographics, multilingual videos, ready to use social media content and a digital handbook explaining how to identify and respond to misleading narratives. The resources aim to support informed public debate and help citizens recognise common tactics used to distort climate information.

By addressing disinformation directly, the initiative seeks to reinforce trust in credible sources, promote evidence-based discussion and support transparent communication around climate policy. Organisations, networks and stakeholders are encouraged to make use of the materials and amplify accurate, fact-based messaging across their channels.
