In May 2024, just under 450 attendees gathered in-person and online for the Third Forum for the Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change in Brussels, Belgium.

The day was filled with insightful speakers, including Mission Manager Elina Bardram and the European Commissioner for Climate Action Wopke Hoekstra, dynamic panel sessions, and important networking opportunities— all centred on enhancing climate adaptation and resilience across Europe. It was an opportunity to shape the future direction of the Mission, sharing its success so far and how to best address the challenges experienced by regions and communities in becoming climate resilient. The event also showcased regional initiatives on adaptation and promoted dialogue between the community of participants.
